David Dearing received his law degree in 1991 from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University where he served as Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. He attended Furman University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and is a graduate of The Bolles School. The Jacksonville native was admitted to the bar in 1991 and served as Assistant State Attorney in the both Fourth and Eighth Judicial Circuits. He was also an instructor at the Criminal Justice Training Center for police and corrections officers. Today, Mr. Dearing's practice areas include Workers Compensation, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Products Liability. He was recently named one of Florida Trend's 2011 Florida Legal Elite and is rated AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Dearing is a member of Jacksonville Bar Association; The Florida Bar; American Bar Association; Florida Justice Association; Jacksonville Justice Association; American Inns of Court; The Million Dollar Advocates Forum; The Christian Legal Society; and the Federal District Court, Middle District of Florida.
