Richard C. Watson, a native Floridian, was born in 1961 and attended Wofford College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages in 1985. Mr. Watson, a former police officer, received his legal education at the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University and received a Juris Doctorate in 1991. In 1992, he was admitted to the Florida bar. During the course of his career, Mr. Watson is credited with attaining the largest settlement ever awarded against Volusia County resulting from a Wrongful Death Case; $1 million. His practice area is broad and includes Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Abuse, Premises Liability, Insurance Law, Labor and Employment, Consumer Litigation, and Discrimination. Mr. Watson speaks fluent Spanish.
